Join us for a day in the woods where you will learn how too identify different tree species and much more.
Wednesday 15 Sept
Time: 10 am – 2pm
This session is aimed at all school aged children younger children will need an accompanying adult.
Location: Queech Wood
You will be given the opportunity to explore and discover this wonderful world and after learning about the life cycle and types of trees, you will help to carry out an important survey and produce a wild bar chart to see how many different species and in what numbers we have in the woods.
Please come appropriately dressed for a day in the woods with suitable foot wear and water proofs and warm clothing if required, bring a picnic lunch and drinks for the day. We will bring tea and coffee for the grown ups and provide a hot drink for the kids at lunch time.
